Movie Mania: a review of the latest films to hit the cinemas

Hi guys, this is a new page I have just created discussing the latest movies in store, and what I will be writing will be my frank and objective opinions about the movies, and that's after I have watched them. Hope you will find them useful!

STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS

When we talk about movie franchises, movies that are greatly welcomed by movie goers, such that producers are encouraged to release sequels to the first hit, the subsequent movies will usually be a letdown, but definitely not in the case of the Star Wars. "Amazing" would be an understatement to describe the movie, "spectacular" would do more justice to those behind the movie. The plot of the movie was great and from my perspective, was also easy for movie goers to follow. Sudden change in scenes were rare, and the cast was doing just right such that viewers could understand what was going on. The locations used were also perfect for various scenes, and one might think that scenes such as that of the deserts would be fake, but they aren't in this movie, as JJ Abrams wanted a more realistic field to the movie. For an action movie, it definitely wasn't lacking in fighting scenes, not to forget the lightsabers which could be seen in action when Rey pitted herself against the villain. There was also a tinge of humour to the film as well, though largely centred around Finn, acted by James Boyega. Overall the film was great to watch, and definitely worth the money.
